My sister sent this video to me, shortly after a friend of mine said not to ever give up on my dreams. So now I watch it whenever I need the motivation to keep me going, to work hard, all for the purpose to care for my family & to serve others.
No matter what it is you dream of, you CAN achieve it. You MUST work hard at it; you MUST persist; you MUST not give up. Whatever it is that you’ve always wanted to do, you MUST imagine that you’re already doing it, and then you’ll be given the tools and energy to meet your goal.
Write down your long term plans: 20 or even 50 years. See what it is you want to do, where you want to be. Then work backwards – how will you get to what you want in the 20 year mark, by doing what you need to do by the 15 year mark? The 10? 5? 1? 6 months? 1 month? Tomorrow? Write them all down, then day-by-day keep moving forward to achieve your next step.
If the purpose for your wanting to be financially independent is only for selfish gain, you’re working for nothing. But if what you will be working for is to be able to serve, then you will be more fulfilled in your work.
People who own rental homes serve to fill a need for people to have a place to live. Restaurants serve a need for people to eat. Tailors serve the need for people to be clothed. The basic needs of life! So find that niche, that unique service, that will help to serve peoples needs, then you’ll be rewarded nicely! If you fulfilled a purpose that benefits humanity, you will always go to bed with a clean conscience.
The purpose of my blog is for me to help myself get better in writing, and to help myself become more eloquent in what I want to say. I believe that the more I keep writing, the more I improve. The more I post about adjusting my mindset for success, the more I’m able to keep pushing forward, as I will also using this for my personal diary. Then in the future, I can look back to remind myself that I’m doing this for a purpose, and get back to the same mindset that is motivating and inspiring.
DON’T stay still. DON’T GIVE UP! You can do this. Just keep working!
“For this I labor [unto weariness], striving with all the superhuman energy which He so mightily enkindles and works within me.” – Colossians 1:29
